Find The Perfect Wedding Guest For A Summer Wedding

It’s finally warm and sunny outside—which means it’s time for wedding belles to ring. As your social calendar fills up with summer’s many weekend weddings, prepare to fill your wardrobe with party-appropriate frocks. To help find the perfect wedding guest-attire for you, take cues from shopping guide and remember these few simple rules:

1) Never wear white. Do we really have to tell you why?
2) Avoid bold, statement-making dresses: It’s your friend’s day to be in the spotlight, not yours.
3) Keep it PG-13. While there can be some eligible beaus to be found on the wedding scene, there can also be children, infants, and elderly aunts & uncles too.
4) Don’t over-accessorize: Those long-lariat necklaces and super-high heels may pose a problem when it’s your turn to take Mambo, Limbo, or waltz on the dance floor.
5) Pack a pair of flats: Between running back and forth to the bar and dancing all night long, chances are your feet will need a cushy break by the end of the night.
